to my home page. My name is David Wright and I have been writing songs and submitting demo's since the early part of the 90's. My main interest is in country music. I have written several crossover/pop songs as well although my main inspiration in music came from ELVIS. My goal like most all writers is to have my songs recorded and played on the national level.

      I think music plays an important part of everyone's life and I hope that my songs can have that same impact as well. You know, a song that describes that first look into someone's eyes, something that you can't describe in your own words but the right song can say it all. A song that can say I love you with out even saying those three little words. Or a song that can just take you back to a place you've wanted to go. On my audio page you will hear a variety of songs that I have written with a variety of different singers and musicians.

      To my credit, I have a song on David Church's new album, "There You Are", to be released July '09. The album can be found here. I currently have several songs under contract with multiple publishers. Additionally, I wrote two songs for Dave Turner's debut album in 1993 including the title cut. Though I can't be in the heart of Nashville where I want to be I am blessed with undying support of my family. I have to thank my mom who over the years has been my biggest fan and critic and taught me to never give up on my dreams. My two sons Zac and Colt for the countless times you get my CDs done for my demo packages and keep my site up to date. I love you guys. And to my beautiful wife Tammie. Your love is a new inspiration for me every day.You always tell me how special and talented I am but it is you that is the backbone to all that exists in me. I Love You.
